Just a little May photo dump to celebrate the first full month of the flower season!

Things have been blooming slow & later than usual, but we’re doing our best to lean into the pace that Mother Nature sets for us. We had an amazing time celebrating all the mamas over Mother’s Day, cheering on all the runners over weekend (including Farmer Mark & Farmer Levi), hanging out with a badass Olympian , welcoming dozens of U-Pickers & workshop guests to the farm, hitting the beach many times to splash around in Lake Michigan, and soaking up as much flower time as possible!

Headed into a month full of wedding floral design work feeling inspired & excited! Cheers to June & the start to another epic Northern Michigan summer!

When worlds collide 🌸🏃🏻‍♀️

Wowza was weekend a blast! From hosting the incredible Olympian & our race crew at the farm, to watching people make their dreams come true at the race & giving them flowers, to running alongside Farmer Levi in his first race - it was an absolute blast. We feel so lucky to have an amazing community of runners who we get to be involved with and getting to bring our love for flowers & work on the farm to that crew was truly magical.

So thankful to Mark’s parents for supporting us, taking care of Levi & feeding us, our amazing friend for slinging flowers all event long, and the thousands of volunteers and race committee team members who came together to make the race an incredible event!

Congrats to all the Bayshore Baddies!

We are swept up in tulip mania here at Moondance! (Especially Farmer Levi, as you can see 🙃) 🌷

At peak bloom, we harvest tulips 3 times a day to pull them at the exact right time so they last as long as possible when they get to you. And well with 1500 tulips… it’s been a busy couple weeks!

We can’t wait to share these queen spring stems with you starting THIS WEEK for our bouquet subscription CSA! This Wednesday or Thursday (depending on pick up location) these specialty tulips will be going to dozens of our lovely neighbor and community members’ homes 🤍 We have just a few spots left for our 6 week spring (tulips, ranunculus, peonies, & more!) or 18 week full season (all those amazing blooms + roses, lilies, dahlias, sunflowers & more!) subscriptions.

And just like that, we have tulips!

This morning’s harvest was too beautiful not to share. We are so excited about some incredible specialty varieties of tulips, daffodils & other spring beauties ready just in time for Mother’s Day!

We are accepting pre-orders through Thursday 5/8 for premium wrapped bouquets or deluxe vase arrangements. Pick up at the farm, Mundos HQ or Bonobo Winery!
