Bud break has arrived at the vineyard, and we couldn’t be more excited for the season ahead. Every tiny shoot is a promise of what’s to come. Here’s to long days, good weather, and another beautiful vintage. 🍇

About Bud Break:

🌱 What it is: Bud break (or “budburst”) is the first visible sign of the new growing season — dormant buds on the vine swell and push out tiny green shoots

⏰ When it happens: Typically occurs in early spring when soil temperatures consistently reach around 50°F or above

🍇 Why it matters: It marks the official start of the vine’s annual growth cycle and sets the tone for the entire vintage

‼️What to watch: Viticulturists monitor bud break closely to assess vine health, bud count, and early signs of disease or pest pressure

👀 What you see: The close-up shot shows young flower clusters already forming alongside the new shoots — a great sign of strong fruit potential for the season ahead

Meet your new fav cocktail, Tequila Radler! Shoutout to Shawn M Miller for coming up with this concoction, a refreshing blend of sweet lemon cider, with a hint of elderflower, and your choice of tequila.

Tequila Radler
🌵1.5 oz. tequila (we prefer G4 Tequila reposado)
🍋‍🟩0.5 oz. lime juice
🍋12 oz. Lemon Radler
(Optional) garnish with slice of lime
