The garden is full of daffodils and there are a few tulips that have survived the rodents, deer and bunnies. As in years past, the garden is open from dawn until dusk and everything you need for picking a bouquet is in the shed at the mouth of the driveway.

It's been an amazing season, but I'm over it, and we're going to take the signs down on Monday so last chance to pick-a-bouquet.... I'm starting to put the garden "to bed" and I had 10 yards of compost delivered - so no gym needed for me! A dozen new perennials arrived yesterday and new peonies and lilies are coming later this fall so I'm dreaming about the 2026 garden. Thank you for all your support!

The August garden is looking better than the last couple years, rain makes such a difference.

I particularly love the vibrant colors of the gladiolus. For a longer lasting bouquet, pick ones that have unopened buds at the top of the stem and just keep shortening the stem as the lower blooms fade.

Come pick a bouquet at Old Mission Flowers! The garden is full of color and variety this year - these pictures were taken 7/18/25. There are quart jars available that you may fill with whatever you want for $20.00. I recommend putting water in the container first so the flowers can immediately start hydrating or you are welcome to pick in a pail of water and then arrange into a jar or vase. My daughter has also stocked the cooler with a few grab and go bouquets for $20.00.
