As we lean into the final weekend of summer, we’re holding close the sweetest memories of our annual friends gathering at the Ranch. ✨

Celebrating birthdays, new babies, friendships that have grown into family, our kids making their own connections, long meals, campfires, laughter, and all the little moments that make these days so precious.
So grateful for the people who show up, year after year, and make the Ranch feel a little more like home. 🤍

A little employee appreciation post — a note from Rachel 🤍

I remember the first time I reached out to Mark. I said, “Any chance you could come work with me for a couple days? I have a few little projects I could use some help with?”

Which wasn’t entirely true.

What I really wanted to know was if we could work together. My husband was very sick with cancer at the time and could no longer be on site doing all the things, and I needed a right-hand man. Someone who could jump in, figure things out and help me carry what felt like a lot.

Turns out, I found exactly that.

Mark has been an incredible gift to this ranch and, very personally, to me. His answer is almost always yes.

“Hey Mark, can you hang these marigolds 30 feet in the air?” Yep.

“Can you move this bar in the next 15 minutes?” Yep.

Stake a sign, run power to a DJ, move 200 pounds of ice, fix the thing that just broke, light the heaters, patch a tire, build something we probably should have built yesterday? Yep.

Usually shirtless. Usually in Levi’s cutoffs. Somehow sustained for an alarming number of hours on tinned fish, cottage cheese and other extremely high-protein foods. 😂

But beyond everything he does, Mark is simply a joy to work beside. He is a deep friend. He loves this place, cares about our guests and our team, and shows up in ways that go so far beyond a job description.

Yokayo Ranch simply would not be what it is today without him. I get emotional writing that because I know how true it is.

So if Mark has ever been part of your weekend — hung your banner, moved your tables, hauled your ice, fixed something, built something on the fly or somehow made the thing happen that you didn’t even know needed to happen — give him some love below.

He’s not much of a social media man, but he deserves to be absolutely showered with love.

We love you, Marky. Yokayo wouldn’t be Yokayo without you…
