Their bio on Last.fm just says “Snõõper is a sick egg punk band from Nashville, Tennessee.” Henry Rollins said, “Snõõper is a band who, in a 33 1/3 rpm world, make 45 rpm music they play at 78 and it completely works.” Do you really need to know more than that? Featuring a maelstrom of puppets, 8 bit animation, papier-mâché, whistles, flashing lights and a whirling dervish of bodies, this is a live experience you don’t want to miss with support from !!

NEW SHOW: shifts effortlessly between fuzzed out, Sabbath-worthy dirges and ripping, Spits-worship punk, hardcore-freak-psychedelia and bright garage pop. Where other bands might falter under the weight of stylistic overload, Upchuck carve forward across the cement with a sense of charmed ease. Following the release of their debut LP, Upchuck embarked upon a break-neck string of live shows, touring alongside the likes of Segall’s Fuzz, Amyl and the Sniffers, Negative Approach, OFF!, and Subhumans and on October 17th they’ll be headlining at Bottlerocket!!

ROBBY HOFFMAN makes their triumphant THIRD trip to Bottlerocket after a whirlwind year that found her getting married, selling out theaters across Canada, stealing scenes in HACKS, and guesting on John Mulaney’s talk show. Oh, and her wife won Traitors too. Not bad!

June is the name of my cat, and therefore it’s a very good month. It’s a great month at Bottlerocket too - with 6 (sometimes 7!) nights a week of fun in store, and rest easy knowing it is now all 100% UCB approved (technically, right?)

Something in the air right now just has us in the mood to announce another improv show - I wonder why?

We haven’t done much improv in the last 3 years, but one of the improv shows we HAVE hosted, and one of the best shows we’ve ever had in any genre, is UCB’s Big Grande performing for 2 special nights in our first year open. So when Ryan from Big Grande hit us up about a very special 2 man show he was looking at bringing to town with UCB’s former artistic director Ronnie Adrian, we jumped on it!

It’s a highwire act of laughter that you can’t take your eyes off of- and you’d be hard to find 2 guys better at it, or doing it longer, than Ryan and Ronnie!!!

They’ve recently done Operation Ivy cover sets with Laura Jane Grace and released an EP feat. A collab with Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy and have been touring nonstop. Come see them make their Bottlerocket debut 9/17 w/ blue collar q***r rock n roll band and their Mississippi ska labelmates !!

One of the hottest new shows to come out of UCB New York this year, we’re so excited to welcome SNL veteran scribe Ceara O’Sullivan (she wrote the Domingo sketch!) and her rag tag rotating improv team (her friends from work) to Pittsburgh for an action packed hour+ of long form improv!

We don’t know who the cast will be, and if we did we wouldn’t tell you. But we CAN tell you that it’ll feature other SNL Writers, maybe a cast member or two, and some of Ceara’s other very funny friends! No matter who’s in the cast, you can expect a great show!

They might read rejected sketches, they’ll definitely do improv, and at least half of them will be drinking on stage.
