Experience Greetings, an immersive art exhibition and film screening exploring the powerful story behind the DAP—the iconic greeting that originated among Black G.I.s during the Vietnam War and evolved into one of the most recognizable symbols of identity, unity, and belonging in Black culture.

🕺🏾💥 Let’s Dance!

This summer, give your young dancer the chance to learn, grow, and shine at the Hip Hop Dance Camp at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center!

Designed for youth ages 10–16, this exciting week-long camp introduces dancers to a variety of street dance styles led by talented guest instructors. Throughout the week, participants will build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and performance skills while learning choreography and freestyle foundations in a fun, supportive environment.

🕙 Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
🎉 Friday Final Showcase: 12:00–2:00 PM

Family and friends are invited to cheer on campers as they take the stage for a special end-of-week performance showcasing everything they’ve learned!
