A red flag warning is in effect for our area today until 9 PM and also tomorrow between noon and 9PM. Gusty winds and low humidity mean that any fires could spread quickly. Use caution when engaging in activities that could start a fire.

Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry
fuels.

Snake Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 202 White River
Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 207 Southwest Colorado Lower
Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 290 Paradox Valley Forecast
Area, Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork Forecast Area, Fire
Weather Zone 293 Gunnison Basin Forecast Area and Fire Weather
Zone 294 Southwest Colorado Upper West Forecast Area. In Utah,
Fire Weather Zone 486 Eastern Uinta Basin, Fire Weather Zone
487 Book Cliffs, Fire Weather Zone 490 Colorado River Basin
and Fire Weather Zone 491 Southeast Utah.

* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM MDT this
evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from noon to 9 PM
MDT Wednesday.

* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise
extreme caution with any outdoor burning.

The main office of the Old Spanish Trail Arena will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth Federal Holiday.

Normal office hours will resume, Monday, June 22nd.

The indoor arena is closed for a private event. The outdoor and warm up arenas are available for community use. Please see the arena schedule for the next available open ride and reservation time:
