Moab200.com 240 mile footrace through desert, 2 mountain ranges, slick rock, canyons, and some of the most legendary terrain and trails in the world in world class destinations around Moab, Utah! The Moab 240 was the dream of the late Stephen Jones, one of the first 200 mile racers in the USA. Jones of Salt Lake City, UT died in an avalanche in February 2016 leaving behind a family and two young children as well as a grief struck running community. The Moab 240 aspires to honor Jones’ adventurous spirit and to bring to life his vision of a world class 200 miler in Utah while honoring his memory. Stephen loved Utah more than anywhere in the world and it was his vision to bring people from all over the world together to experience the incredible beauty and challenge of this mountain and desert environment. Destination Trail has established a scholarship for students interning in land management at Utah State University each year.
