2026 Artist Spotlight! ✨ We are thrilled to welcome Leftover Salmon to our lineup this year! They will be headlining the Ballfield Stage and closing out our festival on Sunday, November 8.

Leftover Salmon has not stood still for 35 Years. They are a band who is constantly changing, evolving, and inspiring. They have emerged from the progressive bluegrass world and come of age as one the original jam bands, before becoming architects of what has become known as Jamgrass. They have been a crucial link in keeping alive the traditional music of the past while at the same time pushing that sound forward with their own weirdly, unique style.

The Moab Folk Festival takes place in beautiful downtown Moab, UT Nov 6-8! We have two great venues, each ticketed separately.

Friday and Saturday night shows happen in historic Star Hall ~ capacity 290.
Saturday and Sunday daytime shows are held at the Moab City Ballpark ~ capacity 1500.

2026 Artist Spotlight! ✨ Please welcome Steve Poltz to our lineup this year! He will be opening the Saturday night show at Star Hall, as well as participating in our traditional Sunday morning inspiration set at the Ballfield (ticketed separately).

Steve Poltz is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and professional goofball. His music tells stories that he calls “chaos and joy with a capo.” If you’ve been to a Poltz show, you know to expect laughter, sing-alongs, and a dose of delight.

Our Star Hall venue is indoors, with less than 300 seats available each night. Our Ballfield venue is outdoors, with a capacity of 1500 each day.

2026 Artist Spotlight! ✨ We are so excited to welcome Jordan Smart to our lineup this year! He will be playing at the Ballfield Stage on Saturday, November 7.

Jordan Smart is a Kentucky-based folk singer-songwriter known best for his raw delivery of heartfelt songs ranging from achingly personal to intensely topical and satirical protest. He crafts thoughtful lyrics heavily saturated with a deep sense of empathy and humanity.

🎻✨ Beacon String Camp – Registration Now Open! ✨🎻
Get ready for an incredible week of music, learning, and fun! Join us for Beacon String Camp from June 8th–12th, 2026 at Moab Charter School (8:30 AM–2:00 PM).
This camp is open to beginner through advanced students in violin, viola, and cello, and is designed to help students grow their skills while having a great time.
🎶 What to Expect:
• Hands-on instrument learning & daily listening
• Crafts and singing activities
• Expert instruction tailored to your level
• Small group and ensemble experiences
🎉 The week wraps up with a final performance on Friday at 6:30 PM—a celebration you won’t want to miss!

2026 Artist Spotlight! ✨ We are thrilled to welcome Rising Appalachia back to our lineup this year! They will be headlining the Ballfield Stage on Saturday, November 7.

Known for their seamless harmonies, songcatching and storytelling, Rising Appalachia Music is known for bringing their full humanity to the stage. Their shows are communal gatherings where people remember their connection to the earth, each other, and the old songs that have carried us through every season of being human. Chloe will be on maternity leave and the band welcomes in Lily Henley, who has toured with them for over a year.
