Using your pressed flower as body art, temporary tattoos. We attach them with eyelash glue or gel fix, then use a light spray of hairspray to seal the edges down. Easy to peel or wash off and great for festivals. I’ll be taking about this on Toby’s BBC Radio Devon show later today

Simple floral earrings. Choose a ‘flat’ bloom, gently push your earring post through the centre of the flower, clean the earring post and enjoy. Only use blooms that you know won’t irritate your skin. I choose hardy blooms such as ammobium daisies, bellis daisies, small spray chrysanths, wax flower, cosmos etc. This is my piece on Toby Buckland’s radio show today

Sycamore seed dragonflies- give them a go. I talked about this project on Toby Buckland’s BBC Radio Devon show today. I paint my seed heads with glittery nail polish or paint and glue them onto a twig with a forked end. Hang them on fishing line in a window - they’re great fun!

We’ll be taking down our Christmas decorations today and using some of the greenery, cones and spices to make some natural fire lighters. Cup cake papers or egg boxes or great for bases and we re-use wax from candle stubs and tea lights. I’ll be taking through this project today on Toby Buckland’s show on BBC Radio Devon and Cornwall
