I may have got a little carried away with the ribbon… 🙈🎀🎄

Apparently I have absolutely no self-control when it comes to Christmas ribbon 😂

I’ve been stocking up ready for this year’s Holly’s Wreaths workshops and Pimp Packs and, well… this happened!

Tartans, velvets, traditional reds, greens, golds, nutcrackers, glitter, poinsettias, snowflakes, tartans… and probably enough ribbon to wrap Broadclyst in a giant Christmas bow 🎀😂 We also have pre tied tartan bows for those of you who don’t want to wrestle with tying a bow!

We also this year have small wooden Christmas decorations and Merry Christmas messages for those of you looking to make your wreaths even more personalised.

One of my favourite parts of wreath making is seeing how completely different everyone makes theirs — and this year there’ll be LOTS of ribbon to choose from to make your wreath your own.

And if you’re making one of my wreaths at home, the Pimp Packs will have some gorgeous festive ribbon in them too. 🎄

Who’s lavender has been putting on a spectacular display this summer? 💜

My French lavender needed pruning early, but my English lavender has been absolutely incredible this year.

Has anyone else heard the 8-8-8 rule for pruning lavender?

Rather than letting all those beautiful stems go to waste, I’ve given them a second life as a simple summer wreath. The fragrance is absolutely glorious and fills the house as it slowly dries.

Once it’s finished, I’ll take it apart and pop the dried lavender into clothes drawers as a natural way to keep everything smelling fresh. Nothing wasted! 🌿

Without fail, everyone who comes for a workshop in my home says ‘what is that smell, it’s amazing and so Christmassy’

It’s my wood burner simmer pot!

It sits on the stove all day releasing its glorious festive scent into my home 🏠 🎄

The gonks are out next to the Christmas tree so when your group has finished you can have the group photo with the perfect background. No filters needed.
