Flower farmer heaven for a day wandering around in the heat wave.
Quick catch up on the FFTF stand with Georgie Newbury and the ladies on their award winning Silver-Gilt Medal stand.
Even got to see Monty Don & Arit Anderson in the flesh.
Sarah Eberle’s amazing sleeping Gaia, Sarah Tophill’s Royal garden, She’ Grows Veg & Lady Garden Foundation and lots more.
Chelsea Flower Show inspiration overload - need more Allium’s and Lupins.

DIY Brides — “don’t ruin your wedding flowers”

“DIY brides” - If you’re arranging your own wedding flowers… watch this first”

Care for your flowers correctly when you get them & they will look perfect on the day.

* Clean bucket / fresh water
* Re cut the stems properly (angle, sharp snips)
* Strip leaves below the water line
* Store in cool dork room over night

* “Dirty water = bacteria”
* “Blunt cuts = blocked stems”
* “Leaves in water = rot”

This is exactly how we prep all our wedding buckets and flowers at Blue Teasel before they start their flower journey.

What a week it’s been…

From early morning picking to late-night wrapping, these flowers have been busy 🌷

Every stem grown right here, every bouquet made with care. Buckets filled, car loaded, so many beautiful stems heading out into the world to my regular clients, customers & DIY Brides this week - Even had my first drive by bouquet.

Thank you for every order, every bouquet, every bit of support 🧡 So grateful they’ve found homes with you. Support British flowers but sadly the tulips are now over - I had to keep the last few for me.

A little flash back on the stunning colours we have produced over the past week - The tulips are now sadly coming to an end and the heat is playing havoc with the Ranunculus in the polytunnel but wow what a week - More exciting varieties to come and outside flowers are loving the ☀️
