What an amazing few days it has been at the NAFAS National Show at Gloucester Cathedral!!

My design for the pedestal class titled ‘Autumnal Acoustics’ was a joy to make.

Super happy and very proud that I received a 1st place for it! I was also awarded Runner Up to Best in Show and Best Newcomer for the National Show. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to receive these awards and I really can’t quite believe it.

When I first read the class title of ‘Autumnal Acoustics’ I knew exactly what shape I wanted my design to be. I completely lost my hearing on one side a few years ago so the curve of an ear came immediately to mind!! Well why not I thought and I’m chuffed to bits that I managed to create the curved shape that I had pictured in my head.

It’s been a magical few days and I’ve met the most amazing and brilliantly creative people. Such a huge amount of hard work has gone into the event by the organisers and everyone who competed.

I would like to take a moment to say a massive thank you to . I met Angela at the very start of my flowery journey many years ago. I wouldn’t be here without her, she inspired me so much and lit a fire within. I will be forever thankful, big hugs.

Thank you also to my darling husband for all of his support and his chain saw!!

Off I head home now back to Devon.

What a brilliant couple of days it’s been at RHS Rosemoor taking part in the Floral Art competition!

1st place and Best in Show for ‘Untamed Beauty’ and a 1st for the second design ‘Strange & Beautiful’!!

Lots of work involved to make the designs and I couldn’t be happier. Such a huge amount of brilliant work by everyone, visit if you can x
