Just some fun photos of us in the studio. Five decades of refining not just how we use a camera, but how we see people, moments, light, and emotion. Look at all of us practicing our skills! A small local photography studio slowly grew into a lifetime of learning. We have all learned photography from Lou who understood the importance of photography. It’s about showing up year after year, continually improving, adapting, and rediscovering creativity. It’s about understanding that every person who steps in front of the lens brings a new opportunity to try something different, to create something unforgettable. Fifty years later, we are - Still inspired - Still grateful - Still passionate about freezing moments. Because even after five decades, the memories of a single frame never fade.

Lou picked up the camera 50 years ago. Today, it’s a family legacy! Over the years, a small dream transformed into a business rooted in photography and relationships. We have become a part of so many milestones. Engagements turned into weddings. Weddings turned into newborn sessions. Newborns grew into seniors. Families returned year after year, generation after generation, allowing us the extraordinary privilege of documenting the past 50 years. All because Lou had an idea to buy a camera!

Such a bittersweet goodbye. This little guy has moved away, and we’re already missing him so much. We’re hoping their family makes their way back to St. Louis someday so we can see them again. And if not, we may just have to plan a trip to visit them, because we’ll truly miss him, his brother, and their wonderful family. So happy we got in this last session before the big move!
