Celebrating 50 Years!

1968 - Contemporary is founded

1969 - Contemporary books the Grateful Dead to play the Fox Theater in St. Louis, our first entry onto the national stage.

1976 - Contemporary produces the first SUPERJAM featuring Jefferson Starship, Ted Nugent, Fleetwood Mac and Jeff Beck.

1991 - Contemporary opens Riverport Ampitheater, hosting famous artists including Jimmy Buffet, Pearl Jam, the Who and the infamous Guns n’ Roses Riot.
