Karen Shiman was an artist in her spare time who created over 2000 pieces of art.

An avid scuba diver, he stopped counting after her 2000 dive and built a coral and sea life nursery habitat so large it is visible by satellite.

She began her professional career as a secretary and retired as an executive vice president and was one of the first women traders on the Chicago Mercantile exchange.

These and the other things she did during her life she did not for praise or recognition, but for the sheer experience and benefit of doing them.

Suffice it to say she led a remarkable and abundantly, productive, inspiring life.

Our most recent bride envisioned a “waterfall of flowers” for her to carry down the aisle. For her, we opted to take a modern approach to the classic cascade-style bouquet in a late-summer palette akin to yummy sherbet and sugared gumdrops. Embellished with delicate satin ribbons, the vines and trailing florals in this gorgeous bouquet flowed 42 inches down to the floor.
