POV: We’re planning your wedding in Cabo.

Destination planning means we experience the whole weekend before your guests ever do. We see the spaces in person, think through the details, work the logistics, and figure out how every piece is going to come together.

So consider this your invitation to come along. We’ve got a wedding in Cabo to plan.

Day 1: Start with the details.
Makeup trial. Food tastings. Rehearsal dinner. Welcome party. All the little things that make it theirs, not just a destination wedding.

The wedding is the main event, but we’re already thinking about everything around it. How the weekend opens. What your guests feel the second they arrive. All the small calls that set the tone for the whole thing.

Day 2: Now we make it work.
Rentals. Floor plans. Lighting. Sound. Where everything goes, how it gets there, what fits, what doesn’t, and what looks great on paper but makes a lot more sense once you’re actually standing in the room.

Nobody pins the floor plan. But it’s the reason everything else on the board actually happens.

Day 3: Walk it.
By now we’re not just looking at a venue. We’re watching the weekend take shape. Where everyone will gather. Where the big moments will land. What it’s all going to feel like once the people we’re planning it for finally arrive.

Three days later, the vision looks a whole lot more real.

The part you see? This.

The part before it? Me walking the room for the hundredth time, moving something two inches, checking the tables from every angle, making sure the flowers are hitting where they should and asking myself if it needs one more thing…or one less.

For Beth and Kevin, that meant bold reds and soft pinks, oversized flower murals, candlelight in every color, black accents and just enough softness layered in between.

A million little decisions before anyone ever takes their seat.

And yes, I will notice if that candle is two inches off.

Two years, two families, and a venue that didn’t exist yet. They built it, and we helped. Here’s how Storyteller Farms came together, and how you can come see it.

Two years later, we have an answer.

Before a single structure went up we were walking the property with satellite maps, sun paths, and a tape measure.

We modeled real capacity: table spacing, bar lines, dance floor pull, service aisles, and the width of a doorway when 200 guests want to be outside at the same moment. That number shaped the build.

The least romantic slide in this carousel, and the most important one. We consulted on load planning and power distribution before the walls went in, because retrofitting power into a finished barn is expensive.

We mapped every route. Ceremony to cocktails, cocktails to dinner, dinner to the after party. Surface, grade, width, lighting, cart access, and a path that works for a grandmother with a walker.

Planned so the property reads as intentional.

Three distinct spaces so the night keeps moving, and guests feel the shift every time.

May 2026, at the venue their families built.

Including the walk back to the car at midnight.

You asked. We drew it up. Then we made it real.

Madeleine and Ian came to us with a vision, and we ran with it, first into a mood board, then into everything you see here. The ceremony beneath the oaks, florals that pulled the whole palette together, decor down to the last detail, cocktail hour, and a late-night after party nobody wanted to leave.

And behind all of it were the floor plans, the sketches, the endless “what if we did this instead?” conversations, and a whole lot of work that made it look effortless when it really wasn’t.

Our goal was never to just recreate what was on paper. It was to keep pushing until every piece felt unmistakably them.

What they asked for was only the starting point. What we delivered is everything after.

Emily & Ned’s guests didn’t either, and that’s what made their wedding so fun.

The weddings people can’t stop talking about are the ones full of unexpected plot twists.
