Still thinking about this Greek-inspired tables-cape we styled at Avli on the Park.

We were inspired by the warmth of the Mediterranean, leaning into rich blues and vibrant, thoughtful florals to bring the space to life. It felt like a love letter to summer: relaxed, intimate, and full of heart, like a sunset dinner shared with people you love.

Caroline and Mike’s spring wedding at LM Catering was featured in Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago and what a dreamy celebration it was!

From a custom layered tulle gown by Millia London to fashion sketches as guest favors, every detail was so thought out. One of the most heartfelt touches is that Caroline gifted her mom and sister custom purses made from her mother’s wedding dress.

These two lovebirds celebrated their one-year anniversary in the spring, and we’re still swooning.

Fashion took top priority. “I tried on more than 30 dresses and couldn’t land on one with the right amount of statement,” Caroline says. “So I perused TikTok and found Ruth Milliam, the designer of Millia London.” They worked together over eight months and across an ocean on a bespoke layered tulle confection and extra-long veil that stole the show.

From Plus-One to The One.

Lisa never imagined that saying yes to a few nights out at her best friend’s Cornell med school formals would change the course of her life. What started as casual visits from Chicago to New York slowly unfolded into something far more meaningful. Over the years she found herself seamlessly woven into her best friend’s circle.

One name kept coming up: Daniel. She knew of him long before they ever met. His stories, his presence, his kindness – he existed in conversation before he ever stood before her. And when they finally met, just months before her best friend’s wedding, something clicked. What began as a quiet spark gently grew into something undeniable.

Daniel proposed in the city where it all began – New York – on a quiet afternoon in Central Park. Though Lisa had a feeling the moment was near, it still took her breath away. Especially when he opened the box to reveal a stunning pear-shaped diamond on a delicate pavé band – lovingly designed by his mother, the woman who would soon become Lisa’s own.

Now, surrounded by love and their sweet pup Leo, they’re writing a new chapter – one that’s uniquely theirs, filled with joy, intention, and a love that was always meant to find its way.
