I’ve spent the morning making cupcakes for my grandson’s birthday party. He’ll be 2 years old, the theme is construction, and I’m expecting some delightful toddler chaos will ensue when his little friends get together to play and celebrate with him. He understands he’s having a party, there will be balloons and cake. The balloons are what he’s most excited about, bless.

My response to an article in the Post last week about the cost of weddings. The role of the celebrant was never mentioned and they are the only essential part of the ceremony.
Getting married does not need to cost thousands. A good celebrant can help you find the ceremony that’s right for you.
