Francesca Greig Wedding Celebrant A young(ish) marriage and civil union celebrant. Wellington / Kapiti
Some availability from Summer 2026/27. I am a wife, mum, lawyer and seven-time bridesmaid.

I became a marriage and civil union celebrant in 2018 when approached by friends who were struggling to find someone they connected with - someone their ‘age and stage’ who could guide them with their plans, help with the paperwork, write them a bespoke ceremony that reflected their backgrounds, families and relationship, and who could be a calm and confident presenter on the day. I love writing, public speaking and music. I can help you to find the words when you are struggling, to select readings, recommend wedding vendors and pace out your walk up the aisle - or I can stick to the bare basics and leave the details to you! I understand the dynamics of big (and small) families and the intricacies and emotions of planning a wedding, of blending friends and families, and of being the two in the spotlight all day long. Please feel free to drop me an email to see if I might be a good fit for you and your fiance. We can meet for a coffee - in person or virtually.

I’m excited to be back on the wedding circuit this season after taking some precious time out with my babies. I was reappointed this week and am looking forward to a wedding season of new faces, new venues and a couple of very, very special weddings of dear family and friends!

Well tickle me pink, this was a lovely surprise.
I’m thrilled to be a finalist in the 2025 Couples’ Choice NZ Wedding Industry Awards in the Marriage Celebrant category. ⭐️ Thank you to whoever of my beautiful 2024 couples nominated and voted for me.

I’m only ever able to take on a handful of weddings each year (into which I pour my heart and soul), so this type of recognition is really special. I can’t think of a better accolade than being any one of my couples’ “choice”. You’re choice 😘
