This is me eight years ago.... Slimmer, younger, and clearly not taking myself too seriously 😅

That last bit's the one that matters though. I see so many business owners who want to get on camera but talk themselves out of it because they're worried about what people might think. What if I look awkward? What if someone has a dig? What if I come across as nervous?
But the people who are actually going to become your customers aren't sitting there analysing whether you looked nervous or your hair was right, or that there was a spot on your cheek.They're paying attention to what you're saying about your business, your products, what you can do for them. That's all they care about, and the ones who would criticise you for putting yourself out there? They were never going to buy from you anyway.

It's your business and your future, and that's worth way more than worrying about what someone might think behind their mobile phone screen. Don't take yourself too seriously, just get yourself out there.

🚜💙 What a fantastic day! 💛🥁

A HUGE thank you to the Caithness Vintage Tractor & Machinery Club for organising such a brilliant Tractor Run and for choosing Caithness Youth Pipe Band as their beneficiary. We are incredibly grateful for your support! ❤️

And what a turnout! 🚜 A massive thank you to all the fantastic tractors and drivers who took part and made it such a brilliant spectacle around Caithness.

A special thank you to Andrew Mackay for hosting us at West Greenland, and to all the wonderful parents who kept everyone fuelled with a fabulous spread of food and refreshments, as well as marshalling and making sure our band members and equipment got safely from one location to the next. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

And of course, thank you to everyone who came out to watch, cheer, chat with us and donate along the route. Seeing so many people supporting the band was absolutely fantastic. 🥰

Our band members were AMAZING! 🥁 They played loads of sets throughout the day and enjoyed beautiful sunshine for most of the run. Then, just to finish the day in true Caithness style, the heavens opened at the final stop in Wick! 🌧️😂 They got absolutely soaked but were still smiling and playing right to the end! What a team! ❤️

It really was a fabulous day, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making it happen.
