Rachael Leahcar has been announced as the Ambassador for the 2026 Adelaide Disability & WorkAbility Expo!

Rachael Leahcar, an Australian singer-songwriter and passionate disability advocate who first rose to national prominence as a finalist on The Voice in 2012. Since then, she has built an impressive music career, with five top 10 albums, international performances, and sold-out shows. Rachael, who is legally blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, has become a passionate advocate for inclusion and accessibility for people with disability.

Catch Rachael live on stage on Friday, 26 June at 11:00 am.

Last weekend, the SA Chapter of The Nappy Collective transformed our Brick Dairy Pavilion into a hub of generosity, receiving and sorting nappies donated by South Australians over recent months.

Thanks to an incredible team of volunteers, a remarkable 23,190 nappies were counted and prepared for distribution to families in need — more than 6,000 more than last year.

As Australia’s only charity dedicated solely to providing nappies to families in crisis, The Nappy Collective delivers practical support to those doing it tough, helping ensure children have access to the essentials they need for a healthy start in life.

We're proud to support organisations like The Nappy Collective and remain committed to strengthening community connections, fostering inclusion, and upholding the Adelaide Showground's role as a vibrant community hub for South Australia.
