Thank you, Alley Market. ❤️

5 weeks.
Not too long, not too short — but long enough to create some memories we’ll never forget.

Thank you to every single vendor who took a chance on us, joined us, supported us, and became part of Alley Market.

One of my favourite moments was always after the market closed.

Everyone sitting together, sharing the food left over from the day, sharing stories, sharing experiences, laughing and talking about life.

No matter where you are from.
No matter who you are.
No matter what your story is.

For that moment, we were simply people sitting around the same table.

And honestly, this is why I wanted to create a market in the first place.

Of course, these 5 weeks weren’t perfect. We learned a lot, made mistakes, faced challenges, and there are so many things we could do better.

But somewhere along the way, Alley Market became more than stalls, food and products.

We met people.
We heard their stories.
We shared cultures.
We made friends.

And seeing that happen meant more to me than I can put into words.

To every vendor, customer, friend and everyone who supported us along the way —

thank you, sincerely.

Thank you for believing in this little experiment with us. ❤️

This isn’t goodbye.

We will be back.

To every vendor who showed up, every person who walked through the doors, and everyone who gave this little idea a chance thank you. ❤️

📣 **ALLEY MARKET – FINAL WEEK + WHAT’S NEXT?**

This weekend will be the **final week of Alley Market** in its current format. ❤️

But before we finish, we want to explore a new idea for this space and see if there is enough interest from local small businesses.

We’re considering turning the space into a **shared retail space** — something similar to the “mini shop” concept popular in Asia, where multiple small businesses share one retail location.

**This would NOT be an event or weekend market.**

Instead, each business would have its own small allocated space, almost like having a **mini physical shop** inside a larger shared store.

You set up your space once and can **leave your products and setup there** — no need to constantly bump in and out every weekend.

The idea is simple:

✨ Share the cost of a **prime Chinatown location**
🏪 Have your own mini retail space
📦 No weekly bump in & bump out
💰 Much lower commitment than opening your own shop
🧪 Test your products in a real physical retail location
📅 Start with as little as a **2-week commitment**

This concept would be for **retail / product-based businesses only**, with **no food vendors**.

It could be suitable for handmade products, art, accessories, fashion, gifts, collectibles, homewares, beauty products and other unique retail ideas.

**Nothing is confirmed yet.**

Right now, we simply want to see whether there are enough small businesses interested in sharing a space like this before deciding whether to move forward.

One month ago, Alley Market started as an idea

and a bit of an experiment.
We wanted to see what could happen when different food, cultures, small businesses and people came together in the heart of Chinatown.

And Adelaide showed up. ❤️
To everyone who visited, shared a meal, discovered a new vendor, brought a friend, or simply gave something new a chance

Thank you.

And especially to the vendors who took the risk and became part of this first chapter with us.

We’ve learned a lot along the way, and there’s plenty we’ll take with us into whatever comes next.

But we’re not finished just yet.
