Something Blue Photography

Something Blue Photography We are a fabulous team of candid, fun and relaxed wedding photographers and wedding cinematographers. That’s why collaboration is at the heart of what we do.

We want nothing more than to capture the story of your wedding day in a way that is as distinctive as you are! At Something Blue Photography and Cinematography, we believe that some things are meant to be, and they happen when the right people come together at the right place and time. Our team of carefully chosen creative experts includes wedding photographers, wedding cinematographers, a gallery

manager, a retoucher, a graphic designer, a book binder, and a location scout. That means we’re able to put together just the right combination of talents to capture your story in a way that is as distinctive as you are. We customise our services for each couple we work with, and bring you an unsurpassed level of service by playing to our strengths. From our first meeting with you, we’ll help you refine your vision, choose the Something Blue photographer or cinematographer that best suits your style, and help guide you through the other elements to tell the visual story of your wedding day, like hand-bound albums or wall art. A pre-wedding shoot is always included, so that we can spend time with you, share ideas, and give you a taste of what you can expect on the big day, which makes the whole process less scary. Being there on your big day to capture your story of happiness and love is what makes our job the best in the world! We make sure that you and your guests experience our presence as one of the pleasures of your wedding day, and never as a burden or a distraction. If you think we might be a good fit for your wedding, or you’d just like to know more, reach out and Say Hello! Being a wedding photographer and cinematographer is one of the best jobs in the whole wide world! Not only do we get to meet really cool people, we also get to capture their stories of love and happiness. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig, right? But we aren’t just awesome photographers and cinematographers. We believe in providing excellent service throughout the entire planning of your wedding day. Our team consists of experts in photography and cinematography, graphic design, and book binding – so you know that you are in the right hands every step of the way. We understand how stressful (and super fun!) planning your wedding can be, so we make the process as easy as possible. No worries! Enjoy our work – love, laugh, cry and smile lots.

Anyone recognise these faces?

I'm decluttering and came across these old sample wedding albums that we used for wedding expos and stuff. I'd love to give them to the couples in the photos. Trouble is, many of these weddings happened before my time with Something Blue...some 10 or more years ago.

I'd love your help to find them. If you recognise their faces, please tell them to get in touch with me, best way is via email on the website.

Thanks a million x

Hey Lovers, if your wedding plans are affected by this sh*tty corona virus, I feel you :-( Yesterday Ben and I made the decision to postpone our Easter wedding in Bathurst and I'm soooo sad 😭😭😭

BUT I've figured out how to milk this stupid situation. A sneaky registry style ceremony soon (no confirmed plans yet friends 😅) and then a cheesy but symbolic ceremony or vow renewal and epic wedding party at a later date! Two weddings! YAAAAAYYYY!

Hope you are all finding awesome ways to celebrate your love and commitment to one another too...it really does help with the disappointment. 🧡 Plus, it might mean you won't have to cancel your celebrant, photographer, florist or whatever...because they're definitely feeling it too. ###

Just came across this series by The Guardian and LOVE it! "How we stay together" is about couples who, well, have stayed together for a really long time. Because getting married is just the start, right?

This wedding...When I decided to study again, I also decided to cut back full day weddings. But this wedding reminded me how fun it is to be there for pretty much every single moment of the day, from the nerves in the morning to the celebration at night. Thanks Jenny & Matt for having us x

Yesterday was so special 🧡 1000 days after Kath and Katie went on their first date at Towers Cinema, they got married there. And I got to be one of the witnesses at their very small and private ceremony. I also got to eat cake and drink champagne in celebration of their love and commitment. Oh and their other witness was called Caity...so there was Kath, Katie, Kath and Caity. Could they have planned it better? 😅 🥰

Time flies...it's almost been a year since we did it in a dress for One Girl! Thanks for the memories Less Stuff - More Meaning x

Last year a group of LSMM photographers decided to unite for a shared passion – educating girls. And in the funnest way…wearing a school dress whilst photographing our weddings! It was part of the “Do It In A Dress” challenge by One Girl, who specialise in helping girls reach equality in Uga...
