Blanket Fort are creative party architects who have been making Newcastle sleepover parties easy and gorgeous since 2017. Indoor glamping for kids and teens (and sometimes the Mums!). Picnics, party theming, backdrops, balloon garlands and our signature ‘Blanket Flicks’ outdoor lawn cinema are also available. We create awesome, modern and stylish pop-up party spaces that land in your home for ‘one

-night-only’ occasions… and then pack it all away for you the next day. We are a registered, insured, full-time, tax-paying small business (no Facebook marketplace for us!). Proudly owned by Newcastle locals and creative creatures Rebecca and Michael Edwards - we look forward to bringing some magic to your next event.

Have a Pie Picnic ✅ … a 2026 goal of mine achieved!
Pick a date 📅, invite your friends, tell each household to bring a whole circle pie/tart/quiche 🥧 , meet up in the park and tuck in. It was such a great social time chatting about, digging into and admiring all the pies (also, delicious).

Elsie’s 13th birthday party; where our long table was left bare and ready to roll (literally, we lined it with a roll of Kraft paper) for an afternoon of crafting - bedazzling, glueing and beading.
Elsie picked a vibrant tropical theme for her August bday party. We were very happy to oblige and to play with all these cheery colours!

See those sports bottles? They’re the ‘lanterns’ for this theme with glowing blue and green fairylights inside… one of our favourite details! 😊 ⚽️

Izzy’s 13th birthday white boho sleepover setup; where everything was dreamy and calm prepping for the party… annnnddd then the neighbour’s daschund decided to sneak into the backyard | momentarily chaos ensued “SIZZLE!!!” 🌀 🐶 Luckily this was before the guests arrived and party serenity resumed.

It was cake, and fresh fruit, and sausage rolls by the ocean at Diya’s 16th… and lots of cushions! A stunning August Saturday, the kind that reminds you how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful city with a plethora of ‘ooh take a picture’ natural settings

Nine 👏🏻 💪🏻 it took some tetris-ing and spinning around in socks but we made it fit!
Grace came home from school to find her birthday sleepover beds all sorted (and the dining room looking a lil’ bit different). 🎀 🍒
