What a beautiful way to spend a Sunday.

It was such a privilege to celebrate Danielle & Dominik at one of Adelaide’s most stunning private homes in Hallett Cove, with the ocean creating the perfect backdrop for their day.

With just 20 of their closest family and friends, it was a wonderfully intimate, relaxed and personal celebration, exactly the kind of wedding that proves you don’t need a huge guest list to create something truly special.

Danielle & Dominik, thank you for trusting me to be part of such an important moment in your lives. It was an absolute pleasure to share the laughs, the emotion and the celebration with you both.

What a wedding! ❤️

Saturday gave us one of those absolutely magic Adelaide Hills days for Trish & Christian’s wedding at The Manor Basket Range. Glorious sunshine, incredible weather and surrounded by the family and friends who mean the most to them.

Their ceremony was exactly what they wanted, warm, relaxed, heartfelt and full of laughs. There were plenty of special moments, but most importantly it felt like them.

And my job didn’t finish at the ceremony! From Celebrant to MC and DJ, we carried the celebrations right through the reception, including dry ice for their beautiful first dance, before getting everyone onto the dance floor for a cracking night.

One of the things I love most is being able to take a couple from the moment they walk down the aisle, right through to the party later that night, one person, one voice, one seamless celebration.

Congratulations Trish & Christian. An absolutely brilliant day and such a pleasure to be part of it. ❤️

What a night! 🕺🪩✨
We had an absolute ball helping bring the SIG 2026 Service Awards to life at The Terrace Hotel with a full-blown 70s theme — and it was a huge hit with everyone in the room!
From the glowing Infinity Dance Floor, giant DISCO letters, mirror photo booth, disco lighting and effects, through to the music and entertainment, the whole room had that proper Studio 54 feel.
Most importantly, the night was about recognising and celebrating the people behind SIG and their years of service — with plenty of laughs, dancing and some seriously committed 70s outfits along the way. 😂
A brilliant crowd, a great venue and one very colourful night.
Thanks to SIG for having Middleton Events along for the ride — we loved it!

$1,450 for 30 minutes?! Geez, I’m in the wrong job…” 😂
Yeah… not quite.

That $1,450 fee isn’t $1,450 in the celebrant’s back pocket.
By the time you take out GST, insurance, admin, travel, equipment, software, business costs, tax and the 10+ hours that can go into one wedding, the real figure looks very different.

The 30-minute ceremony is just the bit everyone sees.

The prep, paperwork, writing, emails, legal stuff, setup and pack-down all happen before and after.
So if you’re comparing celebrants, don’t just look at the price and think:

“They’re making HOW MUCH?!”

Look at what’s actually included, the experience, the reviews, the gear, the preparation and whether you trust them to run the most important part of the day.
