What a fantastic night last night at the SAPPA Conference 2026 at the Wolf Blass Event Centre, Morphettville Racecourse.

After being asked to bring something a little different to the room, it’s great to be back behind the decks as Video DJ John, playing all the tunes and music videos across the big screens.
The room is looking amazing, the production is in place, and we’re ready for a huge night of music, energy, laughs and a packed dance floor.

Thanks to SAPPA for trusting Middleton Events to deliver the entertainment for such a special conference event.
Let’s fill that dance floor.

Yes, I really do bring a tape measure and hammer to weddings.

Why?

Because perfect ceremony photos do not happen by accident.

I place discreet green markers in the ground, 900mm apart, so the bridal party knows exactly where to stand. It keeps everyone beautifully spaced, balanced and perfectly positioned for the photographer.

Most guests never notice it.

The couple may never even see it.

But the photos show it.

That is the difference between simply turning up as a celebrant and truly producing a ceremony.
