High school me used to binge watch fashion shows to feel like I belonged. Being tall & slim wasn’t the beauty standard I grew up around, so fashion opened up a whole new world — introducing me to electronic music, indie & rock, and eventually the path I’m on today.
I romanticised the effortlessly Isabel Marant woman. So seeing the new collection and meeting Isabel herself — only for her to tell me she loves what I’m doing and is obsessed with Afro-tech & amapiano — felt like the most surreal full-circle moment. 🥹✨
