Earlier this year, Freshly Minced Dubai produced the official staff kick-off of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai, a milestone moment for a global leader in luxury hospitality.

Challenged to unite and energise colleagues as they prepared for the launch of this extraordinary hotel, over 1,000 hand-picked colleagues from across the world came together under one roof to align behind a common purpose.

From a red-carpet welcome and an applause tunnel of executives, to leadership panels, interdepartmental competitions and a fashion show unveiling bespoke uniforms, the event was designed to inspire pride, connection and momentum.

The day honoured Jumeirah’s legacy and celebrated excellence, proving how the right blend of storytelling, performance and experience design can align colleagues as one team.

On 16 August 2025, Momentum’s Workshop returned for its 7th season, continuing a powerful tradition of empowering women to design their own success.

This year’s theme revealed the Invisible Success Codes behind women’s leadership, ambition, and impact. It was a day that combined thought leadership, practical learning, space to recharge, and uplifting performance — all designed to equip women at all stages on their journey to success.

Working alongside Momentum, we shaped the live experience and extended its reach. Our strength lies in understanding objectives at their core, then reimagining them in ways that connect, entertain, and reach wider audiences. This year, that meant taking the workshop to a broader market through a three-part TV series on SABC, that increased the reach to more viewers across South Africa.

Freshly Minced partnered with Momentum to bring the experience to life through staging, production, broadcast, and immersive storytelling.

Last month, at the Women Who Make Moves in Sport Summit, Momentum’s campaign created a platform for athletes to hear powerful voices, gain practical lessons, and unlock strategies to build lasting success.

Every family has a secret ingredient. Ours is called Mam' Sylvia. 💛

She’s the one who keeps us fuelled with love (and the best lunches you can imagine). Recently, we brought in Chef Jeanette from Jeanz Cuizine to share some tricks of the trade, and let’s just say… Sylvia didn’t just learn, she levelled up.

Now she calls herself Chef Sylvia and we wouldn’t argue.

If you ever drop by for a meeting, try make sure it is over lunch and see why we’re so lucky to have her as part of the Freshly Minced family.

ONE NIGHT WITH MZANSI was the official launch event of South Africa’s presence at the Expo 2020 Dubai, at the beautiful Dubai Opera House. Our client tasked us to create a show to invigorate interest in South Africa as an opportunity destination to the world by showcasing our excellence through storytelling and amazing performances.

It was such an honour producing this show with an incredible team of some of the best of the best in the industry.

If you missed the broadcast of earlier this year, the good news is that it is being rebroadcast on M-Net channel 101 this Tuesday (16th June) at 14:00. Very proud of this show, that is an unique Afrosymphonic celebration of classical, afro-soul, opera, and pop. A concert that features Richard C**k, Zahara, Nombulelo G Yende; Josh Bouwer; Charl du Plessis; S**I JO-AN, Burton Scott, Musa Ngqungwana and International tenor Gaston Rivero. Definitely worth watching!
