A$AP has every right to rescind that offer. You can't tell him that he "could have handled it better" when it is explicit that this is an issue of discretion.
Let's not become so emotional about the situation that we lose sight of the principle involved: **client privilege and confidentiality matter.**
If someone breaches that trust, the client is entitled to reconsider the relationship. The fact that there may be silver linings afterwards doesn't change what happened. Silver linings will always be found after the fact; they don't erase the original mistake.
This isn't about feeling sorry for someone who found themselves in an unfortunate situation. It's about understanding that discretion is part of the job, particularly when dealing with high-profile clients.
