Some weddings are simply felt. Trish and Frank’s wedding at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club was one of them. Heartfelt, emotional, and overflowing with love.

While the evening before gifted us a brilliant sunset, their wedding day arrived with a beautiful softness and glow. The beach was washed in delicate pastels, creating the dreamiest backdrop for their portraits.

One of my favorite moments was their first look. Frank didn’t just turn around and see his bride. He took his time admiring her veil, her dress, even her shoes. The kind of love you don’t rush. The kind you want to take all in.

Trish lost her father a few years ago, but his presence was woven beautifully throughout the day. She selected a single rose for each bridesmaid to place on the seat reserved for him during the ceremony. I wanted to create a portrait of Trish surrounded by those roses, a symbolic photograph of a daughter with her father. A moment that reminded me why I love what I do.

With her Uncle Mike officiating and guests looking on from the yacht club balconies, the ceremony felt incredibly personal. Trish and Frank paused to take in the faces gathered around them. And as they walked back down the aisle, the look they exchanged said everything. The magnitude of the moment had truly settled in.

The reception was just as meaningful. Without traditional seating, 250 guests gathered along the balconies and around the dance floor. Incredible speeches ended with the couple surrounded in a full circle by the people they love most. And with one of the Jersey Shore’s best bands, you can imagine the party that followed!

A beautiful beginning to Trish & Frank’s early wedding weekend in Sea Isle City.
After rehearsing their ceremony at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City, we took advantage of the setting sun for a few portraits before heading to their rehearsal dinner. Trish looked absolutely dreamy in her backless gown, and the two of them couldn’t have been sweeter together.
Sea Isle City holds such a special place in their hearts. Having grown up spending summers here alongside so many of their closest friends, celebrating their wedding in a place filled with years of memories makes this weekend all the more meaningful.
If this evening is any indication of what tomorrow will bring, I simply cannot wait!

A sweet couple and a vintage car were the perfect inspiration for a soft, film-inspired engagement session, filled with delicate blues, pastel tones, and a little romance.

For their engagement portraits, Kaitlin & Tyler chose a charming vintage Nissan Figaro, Little Figgie, adding a beautiful touch of nostalgia to their session. I wanted to complement its timeless character with a luminous, pastel palette and the soft, romantic quality of film photography.

Such a lovely afternoon spent creating these portraits together.

Both farmhouse and formal. Entirely us.

For those who know us, this little black sheep probably makes perfect sense.

Our world has always lived somewhere between two places- the black tie celebrations we have spent more than twenty years photographing, and the sanctuary we call home… our historic 3rd generation farmhouse.

As far back as I can remember, my great-grandparents had sheep. Then my grandparents. Then my parents. And now, us.

Over the years, they’ve become a little icon of our farm- a thread connecting generations, home, and so much of what matters to us.

So when it came time to create a mark that felt truly ours, a black sheep in a top hat just felt right.
