Two Weeks From Tonight! Barry Rabin & Todd Chapelle!January 17th Come Chase Away the Winter Blues with a Double Bill!
After our Open Stage Laugh along with Barry Rabin and Todd Chappelle, our feature performers.
Chester County (PA) native Barry Rabin’s songs tackle such critical social issues as horse castration, dancing with poultry, and the star-crossed love lives of New Jersey condom factory workers. During his 40-year music career, he has performed in such venues as the Philadelphia Folk Festival (six times), Nashville’s Bluebird Café, The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Catch a Rising Star in New York City. He also performs with The Funny Songs All-Stars, an all-star trio of funny singer-songwriters. When he’s not writing and performing funny songs, Barry can be found practicing law in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Barry’s motto is, “Write the songs that haven’t been written yet – and for good reason!”
Todd Chappelle is a comedy songwriter From Delaware County, PA who does a mix of funny original songs and parodies. His music is influenced by such artists as Weird Al Yankovic, Tom Lehrer and Mark Russell. Todd’s songs have been heard on Good Day Philadelphia, the Preston and Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR and The Dr. Demento Show. He appeared in the 2015 PBS specials "Dela-Where?" and "Dela-Where 2?", and in 2019 on the PBS show "Counter Culture". Todd is a dynamic live act who has performed his humorous music at the New York Funny Songs Festival, the Philadelphia Funny Songs Festival, the Chicago Comedy Rock Festival, and numerous local venues. He was also the winner of the "Delmarva Folk Hero" contest at the Delmarva Folk Festival. www.toddchappelle.com
