What's Cooking Today @ CROC...
So anyway, we just got back from the southwest of France so I thought I'd show off some of my cooking skills I learned down there with my French onion soup. Of course my French onion soup was always awesome they didn't show me much on that one ha ha but, I So lots of other neat things that I'll be sharing with you in the future.
And today I have a very special treat for you...
I am making my ham and bean bisque which may sound simple but honestly folks you do not want to miss this! 1st I make a silky smooth potato puree which is kind of like a Vichy Soi, and then I add creamy white beans dices of Black Forest ham and lots of chunky garden veggies. You don't want to miss this because I don't make this often, and not only is it great for lunch but it's super great to take home and heat up in our microwavable containers for a nice easy no cook, no chop, no clean dinner. And of course we have to put up judy's meatballs os special today because they sell like crazy so I guess you folks like them so come on in, or give us a call at 61O-971-993. INTRODUCING KURT'S CASSOULET ON SPECIAL TODAY!!! And I put it on SALE friends!!!!

a steaming stew of smoked pork loins, grilled sausages, chicken confit, roasted vegetables and meltingly-soft white gigante beans. Topped off with crispy garlic crumbs “pangrattata.”

So I learned this one down in southwest France at a little Bistro in Saint Emilion. This is classic French comfort food and I want you to try it, so I even put it on sale! As an extra bonus I used organic gigante beans in this dish to go along with my stewed chicken house smoked pork shoulder and a grilled sausage.

My Cassoulet also has a little bit of tomato a few springs of thyme some chicken stock and it's topped with crispy crumbs pangrattata. I think you're really gonna love this one( I know I do). So come on in here to the Crocodile Cafe and enjoy some here in the cafe... or take some back home. It's really good for lunch but perhaps even better for a take home dinner and you can heat it up in the microwave 4 minutes you're good to go.... or you can toss it in the oven and bake it off till it's bubbly.

And you really should get a nice bottle of Bordeaux or even better yet a St. Emilion (they have a decent one on sale at W**e & Spirits in the gateway).

Good morning folks my produce man messed up this morning and by accident instead of sending me two cases of potatoes he sent me 20 cases of potatoes! And they said they're so busy and they have a bunch of new help that they can't even come pick them up and that we can have them on the House.

So we have to use up a lot of potatoes, so I thought that we could put my southwestern potato chowder on ridiculous special. So I made a whole bunch of this soup and I want you guys to try it and enjoy the produce man's error.

We also have tuna salad that we'll be making about 10:30 today. So you know it's super fresh and I put up a whole bunch of tuna specials you can have tuna any Dang way you wanna have it basically you'll see that when you go on to our cafe menu.
