** As part of our commitment to the Neighborhood we will donate a portion of our proceeds to various local non profits in addition to assisting them with promotions and events. We're all about bringing the wide array of San Francisco's underground scenes and styles together under one roof while promoting and linking with some of the bay areas most inspiring, creatively oriented non profits. **

We’ve got big news for you 🔊🔊 Starting Halloween night, we’re adding TWO additional stacks to our already absurd three double 21s, taking our sound system to the next level of raw, immersive power. This upgrade will be on display and in use for the next few weeks only, designed to give you a deep, finely tuned Funktion-One experience with reinforced four-corner sound.

What’s coming:
Two additional back stacks, each consisting of two Res4S’s, two F218 MK1s, and one Infrabass 218.

A classic Funktion-One soundsystem, one of the first in the Bay Area, refurbished with all original components.

Joining them is respected producer, tastemaker and vinyl aficionado Pato Watson. One of the key figures in the evolution of electronic music in Mexico, his ability to create unique atmospheres has established him as a master in curating a proper dance floor sound.

PUBLIC WORKS "Givin' the People what they Want" Created to fill a void in the San Francisco club scene, Public Works opened in September 2010, during an era when ultra clubs dominated. The pioneers of the underground club scene that were behind Liquid, Club Six, Mighty, and more wanted to bring back the times where the club was where you went to dance and let go about the stresses in ones’ mind, and not about flashing your wallet around. From DJ oriented club parties and live bands to independent film screenings,performance art and random creative outbursts, Public Works is a hangout, a happening, an adventure. This multifaceted event and community space, in San Francisco's Mission District, consists of a modular event space, multiple bars, art gallery, and community room.

We encourage the growth of art and creativity in the Mission and all of San Francisco, and we are dedicated to providing a forum and a physical space for both. We're all about bringing the wide array of San Francisco's underground scenes and styles together under one roof while promoting and linking with some of the Bay Area’s most inspiring, creatively oriented non-profits. PUBLIC WORKS: A zone for mixing, mingling and collaboration. . . A safe space for all.
