Spring at the club, reimagined.

For Sarah and Jake, we traded predictable for layered: painterly prints, mixed textures, moody florals, and color that felt rich rather than sweet. The result felt refined, textured, and full of depth.

An Anthropologie-inspired take on a country club wedding that felt collected, thoughtful, and a little unexpected.

The palette leaned soft, so we brought in something with weight.

Burl wood introduced contrast and grounded the pastels, while still drawing on the Southern interior references that shaped the design.

Oversized lantern chandeliers became the starting point; we then designed custom floral boxes to echo their language and carry it through the space. When the scale you need doesn’t exist, you make it.

The most important work is often the part you never see.

It happens quietly, while problems are solved before anyone else realizes there were any.

Nothing announced. Nothing held up. Just constant attention to the details, the people, and the feeling of the day.

The work may be invisible, but the impact never is.

A seating display built with a research scientist’s point of view.

Guests interacted with the display by turning beakers into es**rt cards, which they “filled” to reveal their table numbers.

A nod to the couple’s profession, while making science feel beautiful, translated into a cohesive design moment that aligned seamlessly with the overall aesthetic yet felt distinctly personal.

Bridal party fashion is rarely about picking a “color” and calling it a day. It’s built layer by layer until it feels intentional.

We start with the setting and overall design, then consider how color can support rather than compete with them. Sometimes that means working within a tight tonal range for a refined, cohesive look. Other times, it’s about introducing contrast, with shades that play off each other, add depth, and bring energy to the room.

Fabric, texture, light, and movement all matter just as much as hue. The goal is never just coordination; it’s composition.

Because when it’s done well, the bridesmaids don’t just match the wedding… they elevate it.

A standard stage backdrop wasn’t going to work here.

We kept coming back to references from Mexican architecture. The scale, the shape, the way it could hold presence through form alone. It pushed the design into something that felt more structural from the start.

We worked closely with the florist to figure out how to bring it to life. Early ideas started with foam prototypes, testing scale and proportion before expanding into a full installation.

The tent brought its own constraints. Low clearance meant every dimension had to be considered, adjusted, refined.

The final surface was finished in plaster to give it the weight and texture of stucco. It reads architectural because it was treated that way from the beginning.

This wasn’t just a backdrop, it was something that could hold the room.

The kind of day where it all comes together with ease.

From the ceremony to the reception, every detail was approached with intention, allowing the setting, the people, and the moments themselves to take the lead. The result felt seamless and considered, where nothing competed and everything belonged.

A harmonious blend of sky blue and buttercream set the stage for this celebration that looked both tailored and effortlessly inviting. Garden-inspired florals, patterned linens, and burlwood accents worked in concert to create depth and movement, creating an ambiance that felt luminous, cohesive, and quietly luxurious.

Dearest gentle reader,

While Lady Whistledown may be putting down her pen, we’re still quite busy setting the table.

This celebration took its cue from the romance and color of . Lavender linens, heirloom china, candlelight, and florals that wandered from table to ceiling until the room felt ready for an evening of dancing, secrets, and a little spectacle.

Some stories unfold in chapters.
