College football is back! 🏈🏈🏈

It’s been a summer of transitions, including a move for myself, and each of my three daughters, all into different places. As of last weekend, we are now all in our new spaces and ready to settle into routine this Fall.

When it comes to college football, we are a bit divided between our NC schools. I graduated from App State and then got my Master’s at Carolina. My oldest graduated from UNC in 2024, my middle girl is at ECU (and currently the VP of events and programming for her sorority - wonder where she gets it), and my youngest just started her freshman year at NC State. I also started my second year at Duke Law School as the faculty events coordinator. So, go mountaineers! Go heels! Go pirates! Go pack! And if not playing one of those teams, go blue devils!

We know a lot of our couples plan their weddings around football schedules. What’s your favorite college football team? Are sports a factor when planning your wedding? Sometimes it’s best to embrace it and make it part of your day. It’s another fun way to make your day about you and your interests.

I know I’ve been quiet here this year. But that’s what I’ve been up to… spending time with my girls when I can, emptying the nest and getting settled in my new home.

We’re ready to take on a Fall that’s full of wedding celebrations, a bar mitzvah, and a little bit of football thrown in.

Happy 2025!! And Happy Birthday to us!

Yes, I am saying this in the final days of January, but I’ve been trying to ease into the year and am finally ready to take on 2025.

We disappeared on socials for a bit, but we are still here!! And January marks SEVEN years that we’ve been in business!

This year will take us to destination weddings in Charleston and DC. We’re ready to celebrate our couples, create memorable bar mitzvahs, and help non-profits raise more money than ever at stunning galas.

I cannot believe we’ve been at this for 7 years! Lots of ups and downs, but also lots of incredible couples!! We’ve been in over 80 venues and private residences, and we’ve celebrated hundreds of couples.

Welcome to Lily Rose Events! I believe life is to be celebrated… the BIG and the small things! And sharing those moments with the people you love is the most important.

That’s why I am here. My goal is to make your event stress-free and run as smoothly as possible so that you can enjoy it. For the last 15 years, I have directed ceremony rehearsals, coordinated small intimate weddings, and planned some elaborate celebrations for birthdays, corporate holiday parties, community events and more.

I have a passion for making each event unique and want to showcase what makes it “YOU!” Whether you need someone to plan your event from start to finish, or just need to get some advice on a few details, I am here for you.
