Apparently we packed a lot into one summer. 🙃💕🫶
Charleston, an incredible trip to England to visit family, watching Nick take on a Cornish pasty and proper cask b**r, a new baby niece, and an unexpected move because apparently peace and quiet were never really on the agenda.
There were so many reasons to celebrate. New babies, birthdays, my brother’s & besties engagement, bachelorettes, weddings, new & old friends and plenty of reasons for a drinky. It was full, chaotic, fun, stressful at times, and somehow still one of those summers I feel incredibly grateful for.
It also felt like a shift creatively. I’ve stepped back from weddings and become much more intentional about the ones I take on. I’m still designing and flowering every week, just at a very different pace and in a different way than I have before. Turns out, making a little room can be a pretty good thing. Who knew. 💅
And with that space came new opportunities, new projects and new ways to create that I didn’t necessarily see coming. I’m excited to see where they take me. Maybe you'll see this creativity soon.
A summer of change, celebration, family, a few plot twists, very little chill, and a whole lot of gratitude.
Now, time to start planning Halloween costumes and prep for our Christmas season! Weeeeeeee 🤍
