Today the opens and, with it, the State of Maine building celebrates its 100th anniversary. asked for something special to celebrate and here it is! I feel so proud of this chance to represent the Maine flower community at New England's State Fair.

These botanical fireworks and Maine silhouette truly represent a state-wide effort, collecting stems from dozens of Maine farms. The Maine Flower Collective has been drying and storing extra materials and this was the perfect opportunity to use them. Special shout out to Sofia and Luke at the MFC Hub for all their work behind the scenes preparing the blooms for future use.

Big thanks to my co-captain Julia for scheming and spray painting, and to our two assistants and for wrangling our big spidery armatures like pros.

After all these years of doing weddings, I'm finally seeing more and more q***r couples coming through the studio. In case you haven't figured it out already, Plant Office is q***r AF. It brings our rainbowy hearts so much joy to work with all sorts of couples, and being able to provide a safe and understanding space for all people is part of our sacred duty as florist. This two-bouquet wedding happened just a few weeks ago on a perfect Sunday afternoon. You just can't be a cliff side ceremony!
