Just another trip to our favorite wholesale beer distributor and some of our favorite people — Bob and Jay! 🍻

You guys have heard me mention them before, and I’ll continue to give them a shout-out every chance I get. They absolutely rock.

We have a large event this weekend — the Rouses Point Stars & Stripes Festival! 🇺🇸 If you don’t have plans, make sure you make some and head up to Rouses Point. The Stars & Stripes Committee has done an incredible job putting this event together. There are so many moving parts behind the scenes, and you won’t want to miss it.

I texted Bob early this morning to let him know I’d have a larger order coming through so we didn’t hold up the store. He always says, “Just let me know if you have a big order and I’ll get it pulled ahead of time.” Sure enough, everything was ready to go when I arrived, and they even loaded it right into my car.

One thing I always ask them is, “What’s selling? What’s new? What are people loving right now?” They never try to push products—they simply share what customers are enjoying, and they are right every single time.

This week, Bob said the Smirnoff Red, White & Berry drinks have been flying off the shelves, especially the Zero Sugar version. So of course we had to grab some because they are perfect for the Stars & Stripes weekend! 🇺🇸

We’ll have a limited supply available on the bar trailer Friday and possibly Saturday. If you guys love them, we’ll grab more for Saturday. We’re also loving the patriotic cans—they fit the weekend perfectly.

And speaking of recommendations, a couple of weekends ago I asked for the best-selling non-alcoholic option they had. Bob recommended the Athletic Brewing Salt & Lime, and it was a huge hit.

Thank you again, Bob and Jay, for always taking care of us and helping us find the products people are actually enjoying. We appreciate you guys more than you know!

We wanted to give a huge shout-out to Ken Fales and the team at Tri-State Trucking! For those of you who may not know, Tri-State trucking is at the end of our road way down. Ken and his team are so respectful when they come past RP and be sure to drive slow past.

During Samyak and Munmun’s wedding celebration, Ken and one of his team members helped temporarily shut down the road for the Baraat procession, allowing this incredible tradition to take place safely and smoothly.

It was amazing to see local businesses and community members come together to support such a unique and special event. My dad and Ken have built a great working relationship over the years, and it was really cool to see that relationship turn into teamwork that helped make this part of the celebration possible.

We are incredibly grateful for Ken and his team stepping up to help create such a memorable experience for our couple and their guests.

These are stunning!!

Just a little reminder on this gloomy day! I still have freshly made peony vases all made and ready to go to brighten this day!

All proceeds go to a local feral trap spay/neuter and release advocate who also fosters and finds new home for so many unwanted kittens and cats.

Last weekend I sold 29 arrangements ! I have just made 19 more. With the heavy rains and wind I may only get a few more so I would love to put more money towards this great cause.

I greatly thank all the lovely people who came and supported! It was the best weekend!

✨ Sneak Peek of This Sunday’s Wedding Decor! ✨

The covered bridge ceremony space is starting to come together! The opposite end of the bridge will have a similar look, complete with staging, draping, and rows of chairs lining the aisle for the ceremony.

This is especially exciting because it will be our very first ceremony under the covered bridge! 🤍

Enjoy one minute of me battling the wind… which was actually closer to two hours. 😅 I always like to start planning and setting up as early as possible, so getting the front section completed today means we can focus on finishing the back side tomorrow before the big day on Sunday.

Sunday morning should only require a few final adjustments to the draping.

And once again, a special thank you to the true MVP of wedding setups: zip ties. 😂🌿💨

Happy Friday, everyone!

There is so much that happens behind the scenes that guests don’t always get to see, and we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of our amazing team members.

A huge shoutout to Wally, who was hard at work last night getting all 88 ceremony chairs set up and ready for this Sunday’s wedding. This will be our very first ceremony under the covered bridge, and we couldn’t be more excited! He also tackled moving multiple staging pieces for both the bridge and the venue. If you’ve ever moved one of those stage sections, you know they are no joke—they’re heavy! Give Wally a task, and he gets it done. From hauling equipment to figuring out chair counts and layouts, he’s always making sure we’re prepared.

Another shoutout goes to my mom Sanna, and Gina, who conquered a 160-guest event last night. From clearing tables and bussing dishes to resetting spaces and helping prepare for Sunday’s wedding, they kept everything moving smoothly and efficiently.

And of course, my dad was up bright and early this morning. With all the recent rain, the grass has been growing like crazy. Keeping the grounds looking their best takes constant attention—not just mowing, trimming, and edging, but also seeding, fertilizing, and maintaining the property year-round. The lush green lawns our couples love don’t happen by accident. A lot of time, effort, and planning goes into keeping Rustic Pines looking its best.

From lawn care to moving chairs, cleaning, setting décor, coordinating events, and flipping spaces for the next celebration, the work never really stops around here. Every member of our team plays an important role in making sure Rustic Pines is ready for every guest who walks through our doors.

We’re incredibly grateful for this hardworking crew and all they do behind the scenes.

Shoutout to the entire Rustic Pines team. We are constantly making sure everything is ready to rock, and we wouldn’t want it any other way! 🌲✨💚
