How you met, how you knew, your favorite things, and the people you will be sharing your day with.

We carry this knowledge with us as we assess your venue and your team and adapt your story into real life through color, ambiance, and all the details in between. For this amazing couple their story quickly became one of our favorites. A love story that began with a missing mic and a mutual love of chocolate chip pancakes.
He’s from South Africa and she loves flowers (a lot!) which gave genesis to vibrant birds of paradise incorporated into their florals by the incredibly talented Black Swan Floral Design. Chazy Lake is home to their fondest memories, cue the saplings beneath the tent. They love to dance and so do their guests; say hello to a disco ball ceiling above the checkered dance floor.

Story telling is at the heart of what we do and the story of why these two chose Elk Lake Lodge will always fill our cups with joy. It has been owned and operated by her family since the early 1950s and has been their escape to the Adirondacks for as long as she can remember. Both her mother and aunt were married along these shores and when she knew Alex was the one, well, there was no where else either one wanted to exchange their vows.

These details and so many more were weaved into their day and we can’t wait to share more about their beautiful story.

A floor plan on paper and a floor plan that survives a live event are two different things. For M+T, the design started as a concept: an elegant autumnal affair with touches of whimsy. Getting it from concept to reality meant managing each design element, examining how it would look in the space and photographed. Ensuring the stunning florals didn’t detract from the superb dining experience.
This is the part that separates a planner from a designer. Planning gets the pieces to the venue on time. Ex*****on is what makes those pieces come together into a room that stops people at the door.
Watch this unfold from empty batn to finished room. Every choice you see was intentional, and every adjustment you don’t see was us solving it before anyone noticed there was a problem.

“We’re moving across the country.”
“This is overwhelming.”
“No one is getting back to me.”
“I don’t know how to make all these ideas come together.”
“I’ve been to enough weddings to know better.”

Every one of those is a real reason a couple has come to us looking for full service planning. Life doesn’t pause for a wedding, and neither should the vision you have for it. Our job is to hold the pieces you don’t have the time, distance, or bandwidth to chase down, so the only thing you’re carrying is the excitement.

In 2026 we vowed to show up and show off — and this is us, doing exactly that.

New look. Sharper focus. All in on the weddings we love most across Vermont and the Adirondacks, and the bespoke rentals that bring them to life.

T +M didn’t want us to hold back when it came to personalizing their wedding weekend. We built the day around what mattered to them: their family, their story, the memories Valcour Inn already held. Birds Of Paradise were an homage to the grooms home, guests warming the rings for a surprise ring bearer, personalized watercolor florals holding each guest’s name at their seat, a checkered dance floor built for a country line dance, and a pancake bar because tradition can still surprise you. These were just our first round of personal favorites.
