My name is Marley, I am the lead designer here at Callista. My favorite flower is a gardenia, but dahlias are growing on me.
I am a WNC native, living in the heart of Newland with my husband, Triston, and our pack of fur babies. On any given day, you’ll find me with at least two pairs of clippers in my back pocket, wearing a very well-loved pair of Blundstones, and either a Diet Coke or a iced chai (oatmilk with lavender and coconut) in hand.
My love of flowers blossomed when I was twelve years old, working alongside my mom, Kristi, in the wedding floral industry. For the last fifteen years, I’ve been fortunate enough to combine my passion for and interested in design with the natural beauty of the world around me. I specialize in garden-inspired floral design tailored to your specific story - whether we’re styling a wedding, marking a major life event, or just sending a little appreciation someone’s way, I truly strive to bring your florals to life.
Living in our quiet mountain town, I’m constantly taking cues from nature, finding inspiration in the wild textures and vibrant colors of the landscape. My years of running a floral business have shaped not just how I design, but how I approach every single project. Every bouquet and arrangement is filled with heart, crafted to bring a true sense of thought and beauty to your day.
