Jesse Reing has over ten years of experience in the hospitality and event industry. Born, raised, and bat-mitzvahed in Westchester County. From a young age, Jesse knew her purpose in life was to help people realize their vision for their most important occasions. Her creativity, precision, and passion for bespoke service set her apart from her industry peers. After graduating from Binghamton University, Jesse actualized her purpose by earning an MBA in Hotel Management from University Center Cesar Ritz, an internationally renowned hotel school in Switzerland. Jesse returned to NYC and worked in catering and events for Manhattan luxury hotels; Jesse began planting the seeds for what would soon become ‘Events by Jesse.’ By attending the Institute of Culinary Education and obtaining a diploma in Pastry and Baking Arts and Culinary Management, Jesse gained a heightened level of expertise that would allow her to relate to all elements of event planning. Other highlights of Jesse’s career include managing Michelin Star restaurants, leading the catering team for the President of FIT, and acting as the catering director for NYC’s largest independently owned cafe brand, FIKA. Given her unique experience in client services and her previous work as a vendor, she seamlessly navigates her clients’ wants and needs through the event planning trifecta — catering, entertainment, and design/decor.

Where do we even begin? That’s usually the first question couples ask us. Before we talk flowers or food or venues, we sit down and get to know you. What do you want people to feel when they walk in? What does this day actually mean to you? From there we start building out the concept, the design, the mood, the personality of the whole event. Every choice we make from that point on comes back to that foundation.

Once we have a clear picture of your vision we get into the logistics, a full budget breakdown, a timeline that makes sense, and a schedule of check ins so nothing ever feels like it’s falling through the cracks.

Lights, Camera, Married 🎬 Stephen & Matt skipped the traditional wedding ceremony and did something that felt more true to who they are. Projected onto the stage was a wedding video of family photos and their love story, before the two of them walked up together to exchange their vows.

The venue, White Eagle Hall, is a historic music venue and theatre in Jersey City with stained glass ceilings, state of the art lighting and sound, and just minutes from NYC.

We were able to create an experience that left guests feeling like this could only be Stephen and Matt’s wedding and no one else’s.
