Kelsey and Brian came to our studio in June of 2014 to start planning their Fall 2015 wedding! It has been an amazing journey with the happy couple, now husband and wife! The couple made it official at a Capitale ceremony and reception with about 170 of their closest family and friends. Reds, oranges and yellows were the colors of the evening, ever present in everything from the chuppah canopy to the bridesmaid calla lily arrangements and the elegant flower-filled centerpieces, all designed by Blank Slate Events. We loved the monogrammed drip sealed place cards that coordinated with the wedding invitation and the mailbox for gifts- a really cute detail for Kelsey and Brians’ guests. Hank Lane Music set the stage for a night to remember on the dance floor from Kelsey and Brian’s first dance as a married couple to the electric guitar rage at the end of the night!

Another lovely from earlier in the season. I could tell from the start that this was a true match! I was able to have a preview of a few details and surprise elements from this while we were setting up but the photos really told the story of how much fun Kristina and Scott had with their family and friends. Congratulations to another amazing couple!

Last week we worked with a wonderful nonprofit organization, the Phoenix House who hosted their 2015 Public Service Award Dinner at the iconic 42nd Street. The centerpieces were designed with delicate blooms in orange, purple, and hot pink hues picking up on the Phoenix House logo. The bright blooms definitely brought a cheerful boost to the room. The Phoenix House focuses on individualized, and holistic treatment for alcohol and drug addition.

Saturdays are for celebrations! This past Saturday we were at the Lotos Club in NYC getting ready for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. This golden anniversary incorporated Indian inspired elements from lanterns, linens, the menu and flowers. The lovely cake from Eat Cake Be Merry even incorporated the design from one of our linens. Congratulations to Gretchen & Lewis for an amazing milestone celebration!
