I remember meeting Amsale Aberra for the first time at The Knot's Annual Industry Gala in New York City, where she graciously agreed to be interviewed for my blog. She was amazingly smart, kind and beautiful! My smile in this photo really says it all. So, the news of her death this week is deeply saddening. She was an innovator in bridal design, a true visionary...who reminds me of when I first fell in love with the wedding industry, because she was among those who inspired me.
