We are old school & generally like to be behind the scenes with little attention on us and more on you and your event. But with all the new followers we wanted to show the people behind the curtain. So here we go!
Hi, we're the Lermas! We are a husband + wife photography team focused on all things weddings, lifestyle documentation, and events. Carlos started on this journey as a graphics designer who grew tired of editing other people's images and decided to create his own photos. That hobby quickly became a passion, and we soon found ourselves diving into weddings, then exploring other scopes of photography together.

Being in the wedding world, 8+ years ago, we started getting requests if we had or could do a photo booth. We hadn't given it much thought but experienced different ones in our line of work that we thought was fun and cool. We found our area lacked a high-quality photo booth, and we set out to fill that need. We realized how satisfying it was to provide our clients with genuine, heartfelt, captured moments. When memories are on the line, it's humbling to be trusted with such a responsibility. So we wanted to leverage everything we have learned, from graphic design to photography, and give our clients an experience that would impact for a lifetime.

We are originally from Texas (Houston + Austin), but we met in Lafayette, got married here, and fell in love with the cajun culture, so we never left! Another major part of our lives is our 2, energetic little boys, Ashton & Cohen. You'll see them from time to time on our socials if we can get them to stand still! Our house is never quiet ... but giggles & pretend playing makes it all worth it! Oh ya, we can't forget about our first baby.. Tucker, a Beagle-Shihtzu. He has been a good sport, posing in the photo booth a time or two. We're definitely animal lovers, so we are always down for animals in the booth!

It's absolutely worthwhile to mention that we love coffee! We love it so much that we started a coffee shop in Opelousas (Java Square) & continue educating others on this wonderful God-giving gift known as coffee! Stop by some time! You'll love it! So that's us. DM us we love to be a resource!
