The Boulder Cup is back!

After a few years’ hiatus, one of America’s most iconic cyclocross races returns to Valmont Bike Park this November.

Get ready for big crowds, fast racing, and a fun weekend that celebrates everything we love about CX.

It’ll be a full two-day event, featuring UCI racing for the elite and 17-18 fields, plus amateur categories for every age and ability. The race is part of the 13-week Colorado Cross Cup and the Cyclocross National Series.

For more than two decades, the Boulder Cup was among the premier cyclocross races in the nation, putting Colorado on the map as a CX hotbed. BJC is proud to bring back this legendary race and keep Colorado cyclocross at the top!

This year's jerseys display appreciation for the Mimbres Mogollon people and also compliment the bike race’s longstanding tradition of awarding artisanal Mimbres-inspired black-on-white trophy bowls.
The patterns and textures featured in this year’s jersey designs are inspired by pots in the NAN Ranch collection of Western New Mexico University Museum. Graphic artist and bicyclist Mitch Ikemoto pulled these concepts together in the four designs Jakroo Custom Apparel Alpha jerseys.

🟥 Crossing the body of the New Mexico True leader jersey are thin horizontal lines like the fine brush strokes making the complex and meaningful designs of Mimbres pottery. The pattern on the left sleeve is based on the horizontal stripes adorning a miniature olla on display in the WNMU Museum’s main level.

🔴 The circles that dot the Freeport McMoRan climber jersey appear to be made of solid lines at first glance; a closer look reveals detail inspired by the designs commonly painted on Mimbres pottery.

🟩 ⬜ A bold geometric design encircles both the green Gila Regional Medical Center sprinter jersey and the white Southwest Bone and Joint/Brian and Lynn Robinson Best Young Rider jersey.

➕ A hand-drawn border at the bottom of each sleeve finishes each look, and every left sleeve bears the logo of the Leaders of Enchantment podcast, media partner.
