Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, and we’re already thinking about what’s going on the table.

While Savory is closed on Thanksgiving Day, we can still take care of the cooking. Our Thanksgiving dinners are completely customized to you, whether that means a traditional turkey dinner with all the classics or something entirely different. Any cuisine, favorite family dishes, dietary restrictions, or simply the foods you really want to eat on Thanksgiving, we’ll build the menu around you.

Meals are available for pickup or delivery in the days leading up to Thanksgiving and come packaged with easy, detailed reheating instructions so everything is ready to enjoy on the big day.

Whether you want us to take care of the whole meal or just need a few dishes to round out the table, we’d love to help make Thanksgiving a little easier this year.

There’s always a little extra energy in Boulder when everyone is back on campus.

We love working with CU and getting to be part of the events, meetings and gatherings that bring people together throughout the year. From quick lunches to larger celebrations, it’s always fun to see campus full and busy again.

These photos are from a recent event at Koenig, one of those spaces that always feels lively and full of character. We’ve spent a lot of time here over the years, and it’s always fun getting to come back, set up and see the space fill with people.

A little behind the scenes of a busy week at Savory.

There’s a lot that happens before the food makes it to the table, and even more people behind it. On weeks like this, our kitchen is full, everyone is moving, and people are jumping in wherever they’re needed. Coordinators are helping in the bakery, chefs are prepping for one event after another, and there are plenty of extra hands plating, garnishing, packing and getting everything out the door.

It’s busy, a little chaotic and very much a team effort, but there’s also a lot of fun happening in between.

Food is our favorite way to bring people together, and sometimes that looks a little different than the events we usually share.

Here’s a look back at Bob and Kija spending the day making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Conscious Alliance and supporting the work they do in our community.

Giving back has always been important to us, and right now that also means stepping in to support Boulder Bridge House . With Community Table Kitchen closing, we’ve taken on preparing the daily meals they previously provided to help keep these dinners going without interruption.

We’re donating the first 10 days of meals while a longer term plan comes together, and we’re grateful to be able to help fill the gap and keep good food on the table for our Boulder community.

A big thank you to Conscious Alliance, Bridge House, Community Table Kitchen and all of the people and volunteers behind this work. We’re proud to be a part of it.

There’s a lot to love about August in Colorado, especially when it comes to the food.

Fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, summer fruit, Colorado peaches, bright citrus and fresh herbs are some of our favorite flavors to work with this time of year.

We love letting the season inspire our menus and taking advantage of all the good produce August has to offer.

And of course, we had to give BBQ season one last shoutout. There’s still plenty of summer left for one more backyard gathering.

Sunday night, The Boulder Open Space Conservancy hosted Full Moon Jazz, a gorgeous evening of live jazz with friends and neighbors to Step Up for Sanitas - a community campaign to raise funds for the Mount Sanitas project.

All donations made will be matched dollar for dollar by the Mt Sanitas Mad Hatter Project - Random Acts of Kindness
