From strangers to fast friends - this is why a welcome party is non-negotiable when planning a weekend long celebration.

For at , we kicked things off with the Golden Hour Dinner Party. Couples drew random seats, and I could see the nervous energy as they realized they’d be dining with people they just met. But nothing sparks connection like a good theme and a little friendly competition.

Everyone came dressed in their elevated cowboy chic best, and the Golden Table Competition brought the room to life—uncovering shared stories, inside jokes, and lots of laughs. By the time we hit Town Hall for line dancing, the party was in full swing.

It was the perfect start to an unforgettable weekend.

When it comes to stage design, I avoid standard at all costs.

For the 2025 Summit at , the theme was Change the Game, and that’s exactly what we did. We went all in with a bold black and red palette, layered in edgy LED lighting, and made sure the message hit hard with the summit’s theme emblazoned across the front of the stage.

A summit stage isn’t just for the moment, it becomes the visual backdrop for every conversation, photo, and video that lives on long after the event ends. So make it count. Photos

Yes, we design for beautiful photos, but more importantly, we design to bring the mission to life.

At the Summit, every visual moment was created to make guests stop, feel, and remember why we were all gathered. A 10-foot football bursting through the ceiling set the tone for the Change the Game photo moment - bold, unexpected, and impossible to ignore.

An emotional mission wall told the story behind the foundation’s work, and an End Gun Violence window mural made the message clear: this is a movement.

Monday, we gave ourselves permission to pause. To breathe. To laugh without a run of show. To meet someone new without selling.

Recess by Lemiga Events: The Cinco Edition was a reminder of what happens when we prioritize joy, connection, and the simple power of playing together. No pressure. No pitch. Just a moment to fill our own cups — with tacos, sunshine, and community.

In a world that tells us to grind, we chose to gather. And it was beautiful.
