Celebrate your engagement like this....

Your engagement is such a fun time and we know you want to celebrate! But where do you start?

Bridal shower, wedding shower, engagement party, bachelor/bachelorette events. It can get a little overwhelming! By no means do you have to do all of these either, choose which to have, or have them all!

Typically speaking an engagement party/ dinner is done first, somewhat soon after your engagement. Then followed by wedding and bridal showers. And lastly bachelor/ bachelorette celebrations are done closer to the wedding.

If you are in engaged, will you be doing all the traditional wedding engagement celebrations?💍

💐 The Wedding Bouquet 💐

Bridal bouquets are beautiful, one of a kind, works of art. They usually cost a lot of money ($150-$400) and are really special. Here's at tip for all you brides to be: You don't actually HAVE to toss the bridal bouquet at the bouquet toss. Instead you can get a small, less fancy, less expensive, less heavy bouquet for tossing.

A "tossing bouquet" is what brides will toss over their shoulder at their bouquet toss. A smaller, lighter bouquet is easier to toss and it won't really matter if it gets smashed as girls fight over it.

Then give your actual bouquet to your mother, grandmother, or someone else who is super special OR keep it for yourself! A "bouquet presentation" is a really sweet way of honoring a mother or grandmother at a wedding. Incorporate the "bouquet presentation" into the timeline and pair it with a short and sweet speech honoring the person who is getting the bouquet.

Also a super popular option is to press your bouquet flowers and frame them to keep forever!!

What will you do with your bouquet?"

So honored.

Irene Tyndale is the Chief Event Officer for Irene Tyndale Weddings and Events. When so many event planners were reluctantly scaling back from lockdowns and client anxiety, Irene took it upon herself to take a different approach. First, she pivoted to the small wedding segment to help clients fulfill their marital dreams on a smaller scale. Small weddings is not a new concept, but when you proceed in the face of ever-changing adverse circumstances for the sake and sanity of your clients, you are not just an innovator: you are a gladiator. Second, she established an Instagram Live series to highlight and showcase her vendor partners to potential brides, future planners, and the industry at-large. This series gave them an outlet to not just feel normal for a second, but for them to connect with new people and to spark new ideas for their businesses.

Mothers, you are always there for us❤️

Thank you to all the mothers and all the superhero task you do. You are always there to help when it's needed. Mothers are some of the most selfless people you will know and they deserve the world because of that.

Thank you and we love all the mother figures in our lives. It wouldn't be the same without you! Happy Mother's Day😊

EXPENSES BRIDESMAIDS ARE EXPECTED TO COVER:

There’s a reason the bride asks you to be her bridesmaid. It is a huge honor and SO much fun, but it can be pricey and a big time commitment. Here are a couple things you’ll want to consider before jumping straight into the “YES!” of becoming a bridesmaid.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💸EXPENSES: Be prepared to purchase your own dress, hair + makeup, bridal shower costs, and bachelorette party costs (which includes ALOT- food, themed outfits, hotel, flights, etc). Of course some couples are able to pay for some or all of this for the bridesmaids but it shouldn't be expected. When it comes to the bachelorette party, the bride shouldn't be paying for anything! Bridal shower and bachelorette party costs are typically split evenly amongst the bridesmaids.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⏱TIME COMMITMENT: As part of the bridal party, you should be present as much as possible. This means attending the dress appointments (if the bride wants you there), possible meetings about decor/design, bridal shower, bachelorette party, and of course the wedding day. It's so important to show up for the bride, emotionally and physically, (be a good friend!) Be prepared to offer support throughout the whole process! It's not just about the wedding day. And if you can't make one of the pre-wedding events? Communicate that early, or when you accept your bridesmaid proposal (if dates have already been set!).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Being a bridesmaid is SO special and truly an honor. Tag your below and show some love!
