14 years ago yesterday -17,000 fans packed into the stadium to watch the New Zealand Kiwis verse Toa Samoa, with the Kiwis winning by just 2 points.

After last night’s incredible Tonga v Samoa clash, this popped up in our memories. 🇹🇴🇼🇸 The pride, the flags, the passion and the electric atmosphere that Pasifika nations bring to sport is next level, and is always a huge celebration of Pacific culture.

And so, we are really looking forward to hosting the Pasifika Rugby Sevens (and trying all the delicious food!) on 21 November with Fale Pasifika Te Tai Tokerau/Northland.

🎆 A BIG THANK YOU TO HARCOURTS! 🎆

We’re thrilled to welcome Harcourts on board as a sponsor of this year’s Whangārei Fireworks Spectacular! 🙌 We couldn’t do it without the support of amazing local businesses like Harcourts.

And they’re bringing the fun with the Harcourts Kids Corner! There’s loads of FREE activities including face painting, sack races, egg & spoon races, co****le, tug of war, bike riding (thanks to Bike and Hike Northland) and even a sandpit (thanks Green by Nature)! There’ll also be a Harcourts colouring-in station with prizes to be won! 🎨

Take on the epic Giant Atomic Rush Obstacle Course with Trail Blazers, or head to our specially designed Under 6's Area, featuring a mini obstacle course just for younger kids.
