Today we’re shining the spotlight on two absolutely incredible members of our Action Zone family — our amazing Team Manager, Kelsey, and our fantastic Duty Manager, Katie! 💙

✨ Kelsey ✨
Full of energy, hardworking, community-focused, and deeply connected with the people around her, Kelsey continuously gives her all in everything she does. She is passionate about making sure every person who walks through our doors at Action Zone enjoys our services, spends quality time with family and friends, and leaves with amazing memories to treasure. Her dedication and positive attitude help make Action Zone the welcoming and exciting place it is today!

If you’ve visited us, chances are you’ve seen Katie’s smiling, bubbly personality lighting up the place! Always keen to help, Katie brings an incredibly positive “go-to” attitude to every shift. Her friendly nature and upbeat energy make everyone feel welcome, supported, and ready to have a great time.

These two fabulous staff members truly give their all every single day, and we are beyond grateful and excited to have them as part of the Action Zone team. Thank you both for everything you do! 💫

💖🎀 PINK SHIRT DAY 2026 🎀💖

Tomorrow, Friday 15th May, we’re proudly getting behind New Zealand’s Anti-Bullying Day and standing together against bullying 💗

It’s been awesome seeing parts of our community already showing support, spreading kindness, and reminding people that everyone deserves to feel safe, included, and supported. 💕

From tomorrow, we’ll also be collecting donations from anyone who would like to contribute towards supporting our chosen local school, Raurimu Avenue School 💖

If you’d like to help out, feel free to pop into Action Zone and donate what you can. Every little bit helps as we stand together against bullying while supporting local at the same time 💗

If you’ve spent any time at Action Zone, chances are you’ve already seen Shannon down on the bowling lanes smashing pins and bringing the energy! 😄

Shannon is always one of the first to jump in and help the team with anything bowling-related, and he’s known for his bubbly, friendly personality and willingness to help everyone out. Whether it’s helping customers, supporting staff, or keeping the fun going on the lanes, Shannon is always there with a smile.

Many of you already know Shannon by his familiar smiling face that greets you every time you walk through the doors at Action Zone. We’re lucky to have him as part of the team! 🎳🙌

With the wild weather on the way we thought we would just give a quick update for Whangarei Action Zone
We will be open as normal today, Saturday the 11th, and here to keep everyone entertained in Northlands largest family entertainment.
We have space for the whole family to get out of the rain and something fun for everyone!
We may need to close a little earlier tonight as things intensify but we will keep you all updated as we go.
Stay safe over night everyone and let’s hope this thing passes quickly like predicted.
We have some awesome spot prizes to give out over the weekend so come on in, have some fun and stay safe!
We recommend booking for the Ten Pin bowling or Laser tag as we do fill up quickly so don’t miss out!

Normal hours from 10am until 6pm tonight, Sunday the 5th of April
With the kids hopped up on chocolate, it’s the perfect time to bring them into Whangarei Action Zone to get rid of some of that energy!

We love Easter time here at Whangarei Action Zone and have some exciting things happening during the school holidays as well!
We are closed Good Friday, Friday the 3rd of April
Re-opening Saturday the 4th with all normal hours from Saturday on!
